SIARGAO 2018
When I hear S I A R G A O, I easily associate the place as the surfing capital of the Philippines. But as I have visited the place, I realized that there’s a lot more to enjoy on this magnificent island!
Little did you know, all of my trips are scheduled 6-9 months ahead of time because I’m a plane tix promo hoarder! But since last quarter of 2017 until early 2018, I haven’t personally booked any due to health reason of a loved one. I only had reservation for Boracay trip thru Air You Go (not me who booked it) with Superfriends. Unfortunately due to its closure, it was cancelled. I rerouted a tix to SIARGAO because I couldn't think of other dream destination aside from BATANES! Since I only got 1 tix, I booked my always travel partner, my babaks using my Get Go points for 8k+ points.
Why Siargao? Because.....Why Not?!
That was the most relaxing & most rejuvenating trips we ever had! We had more quality time talking, lying & sleeping in the sand, & felt the cool breeze straight from the Pacific! I mean, everything is all about the beach & we were in time for the international surfing competition! Plus, the beer & an open disco along with the strangers - locals & foreigners - made the night even more fun & memorable! And for the longest time & for the love of beaches & lagoon, I was literally sunburnt but I loved it!

Our 10th year onward journey was the hardest year for us. It was really an emotional time for me with what had happened to papa. And so, we seldom celebrated our monthsary outside coz I really wanna go straight at home. Even Cebu Pacific's promo fare could not excite me then, so I wasn't able to book a flight and I didn't booked any on those bad times.
We tried to go to HK and Macau on this journey. But even when I was in the roller coaster, it was really a different feeling. I wasn't completely happy knowing that I had problem back home. I even cancelled my Taiwan trip because of that.
And as the year goes by, more so with our love life, another anniversary has come. It was a long journey. Always blessed. It wasn’t perfect but I couldn't imagine to spend it with someone else. Good bye 10 years journey. Unfolded 11 years at the north, Beach Placid in Sta. Fe, Bantayan.
To babaks, let us continue to share this beautiful Micki3 story. To infinity years to us! God bless our love life, our individual plans, & what’s ahead on us.

2017, You were the Dreamer's Nightmare
2017 is about to end. The year that she thought to be her lucky one. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the most hurtful year to her, for her family, future career plan & to some people dearest to her.
In her career, she has always been grateful of what she'd achieved. But like others, she also has a dream. She had waited for few years now only to find out that after some changes, she fell short. She tried to catch up & eventually do the plan B. She was excited then.
To a dearest friend, she knew she made mistake. But despite how sorry she was, even if it hurts her ego, it didn't work out.
Came the worst day she never prayed for. One of the most important persons in her life left her. In spite of being sick, she prayed that she could've live longer & gave her more time to take care of her.
But as she thought that it could be the worst thing to happen this year, just almost 2 months after, her most precious jewel was diagnosed to have a heart problem. It turned down her world. She begged for a miracle. It was like giving up everything in the name of life! Eventually, she gave up her plan B dream.
There were still glitches along the way. Someone who see her as selfish. Someone who considered her as emotionally insensitive to think she will be the most understanding person of all time. Sad thing is, she became the worst version of her self. She totally lost her self. She's mad. Very sensitive. Sets in insecurities. She's tired. And yet, there's no painful other than how she felt for her loved one. She prayed the hardest yet she's afraid. She bargained. She'd stop dreaming. She cried - every day,any time, & anywhere.
Sometimes, she wished she was not as emotional as this. She wished she lived a little rebel. She wished she was not as family oriented as this - 'cause this made it more painful and harder for her.
And this year has only few hours left to unfold. But it didn't change the fact how it brought her so much pain, fear, discouragements, frustrations & unsure future plan.
After all, there are still so much to thank for. So she hold on to those hopes and positivities that this life could still be a beautiful place to live on. But it's totally different now. She's afraid to laugh hard because she might ended crying. Yes, this year is truly a nightmare to her. No matter how she tried to appreciate all the goodness happened around, the painful experiences really prevailed.
She's scared for 2018 and the years to come. So for now, she will let the dreamer in her to rest. She wishes one day, she will regain the life she used to have. To dream again. To live life positively and lessen her fears. Wish her courage. She's far from perfect and never will be one. Hence, she's asking others' patience, love and understanding. Give her a little time. And most importantly, please, pray for her, too.

Micki3 @ Hong Kong & Macau 2017
Heeeeeeeeeeere we go again! The Micki3 Adventures continue this 2017 :)
Last March 14 Cebu Pac had its Getgo points sale in which I was able to avail 2 tix for Hong Kong & only pay for Php2,150/pax. Booked our accommodation in Agoda and all itineraries & transpo in Klook and availed Php1,900 discount!
Been waiting for 8 months...
And the day of our trip has finally come!
Flight 5J 420 at departure time: 06:10 am, arrival time: 08:55 am bound for Hong Kong!
We picked up the Octopus Card for MTR (train) at arrival area Counter A13 - Php644/pax w/ $50 load enough for Disneyland and reloaded 300HKD (Php2,040). We used it also to pay foods in 7/11. Going back to the airport, we again reloaded 50HKD (Php340).
