#iamdreamermichelle's 2014

Year 2014 is one of the best years in my life!
BEST ~ in the sense that several things happened in every aspect of my life this year: from my family, friends, career, education, places, love life, health, dreams etc. It is not as BEST as "HAPPINESS ALL THE TIME" but instead, how it "BEST-LY" taught me "TO UNDERSTAND LIFE BETTER AT MY AGE".

But through all the heavenly blessings and some odds I experienced this 2014,
I am Who I Am Today because of that AWESOME 2014 I GOT!!!
  • Family ~ Blessed with complete despite of our imperfections
  • Friends ~ Superfriends is given, got new friends
  • Career ~ Got a permanent Nurse position in the most challenging way
  • Education ~ Enrolled to doctorate program (try to catch-up next yr) & language module
  • Places ~ Highlighted the travels in Palawan, Boracay, Baguio
  • Love life ~ Had our longest days of not communicating (like 21 days? how was that!) but we are now on our 7th year
  • Health ~ Im good, my papa needs maintenance drugs, all is well
  • Dreams ~ Pursued my long-and-forever heart's desire

My Dearest Lord, How can't I be GRATEFUL unto YOU!?! :)

And this DECEMBER summarizes all our (my) HAPPIEST MOMENTS with Family, Relatives, Superfriends, Lovelife - Babaks,  Friends, Workmates and among others, in spite the 12 month-long journey with this tricky-life! And that matters the most!

SFinBAGUIO 2014

April this year, another travel bucketlist of Superfriends was reserved 3 months after we perfectly completed our first-outside-Cebu escapade altogether in Palawan. From a beachy El Nido to a colder City of Pines & Summer Capital - BAGUIO, SFs is very much excited for a twist of nature & most of all, a twist in our outfit!(haha)

As our schedule is getting nearer, 4 among the group did not make it due to some personal reasons. But despite of all the circumstances in life, the trip has to pursue!
AND SO, BAGUIO HERE WE GO!

At 10 October, 9 SFs namely; Babaks, Wisheart, Rolly, En, Madz Ai, Joan, Rhea, Judith & I, met at Yati around 4:30-5:00 am & went directly to the airport. Our flight is at 7:20 am via Cebu Pac. We were just so blessed for the favorable weather since the low pressure shifted its direction to Japan.

As we arrived at NAIA 4, we wait for Irene since she was the one in-charged of our van. Along with her is Ate Jovy, her classmate. At 10am+ we were so excited to start our long journey trip. We stopped somewhere in expressway to eat our lunch at Chowking. After that, the 200kms+ to our destination continues.

Along that very long hour trip, we slept, watched David Foster's concert, chikas & observed places we passed by & it was then repeatedly done! (Haha) And I was so glad that I made to see those provinces/cities/municipalities I had only heard & saw in tv.

As we took the longest right turn towards the entrance to the province of Benguet, SFs started to feel more thrilled! Since then, everybody is just observing the beauty of nature. And as we were getting closer, we were welcome with rain showers. Good thing it was a pure bliss. Temperature is getting cooler. And at almost 5pm,

YES! BAGUIO, WE FINALLY S.T.E.P. ON YOU!!!

Since we have hundreds of pictures from all our itineraries, I challenged my self to choose only 1 best photo in every place we had visited.

The Road Closer to My Dream!

It was a tough mid-year crisis for me. I never thought at this point of time, I  still have to experience so many rejections including - the downside of my career.

The time I was connected with my current job, we were already bothered of what they called rationalization. Anyway, I never think too much of that because aside from being it a stressor, it's something that is out of my mind due to my personal dream - which is not new to people who know me well.

As the months went on, never we did thought that the implementation of rationalization will come into reality. Yes it did. But personally I never expected that way - when almost all JOs were put into place. Then later I realized that among who did not make it was ME!

After the so many talks with the management, friends closest to me at work & family, I begin to accept the fact that not all the opportunities will be given to you. I considered that as "Oh maybe God has a better plan for me."

After a week & weeks thereafter, I have moved on; and living at peace. I even went to a short family vacation at Boracay to see the other good side of life. I was literally at peace that time coz my family kept on reminding me to hold on with my heart's long desire!

However, later did I know that the battle was not yet over. We did the last round of oppurtunity to get the final slots. This time, it was a matter of last chance or none at all.

The round 2 interview. I was more thrilled this time.

And after several weeks of waiting, a good news was revealed - I MADE IT!!!

It was officially announced on the 7th of July 2014. 3 candle-lighting at Cathedral. I'm super blessed.

I wish to thank so many real people for this will not be possible without them. You know who you are and what you contributed for me to get the position, but let me just mention a few.

To my family who comforted me and who tried everything just to fulfill my requests.
To babaks Jackie, Krysten & friend Rolly who always reminded me to never give up, to hold on, and to keep the faith.
To my CDS family who sympathized and who did not even celebrated their early appointment to consider my feeling (mo-eat ra mn sad unta ko gud!haha.
Also, to my Malaria family who know me better and did all the comfort  when I was down.
And to all the doctors & co-employees who encouraged, fought & recommended me, I owe a lot from you also.
Of course to the management for choosing us, we will not disappoint you to do all of our deliverables.
And above all, to God who taught me a big lesson out from this existential crisis, that not all what I wanted will come easily, my heartfelt gratitude that You never give up & leave me.

Indeed, this was never easy but being defended and loved by these people made me realized how blessed I am to have them around.
To all of you, I thank you!!!

It's More Fun in Boracay, and Even More, More Fun w/ Loved Ones!

I don’t spend too much for leisure - But if it’s for the happiness of my family,
 I’m gonna save for it!

Long before, I always dream of a family treat in a way of my gratitude to my parents for giving me everything that made me of who I am and what I have in life. As a daughter, I know I gave them so much heartache when I graduated in college and learn to blame all my frustrations and get dismayed with my profession.

But as the years passed by, I learned to appreciate life, especially with my career. (and their lives too! :) Although I still don’t know where it will take me in the next future but life has to continue. I enjoyed it despite of some hitches along the way – the existential crisis which happens to everyone (no exception). And one thing I appreciated of my way of thinking is that I would like also to bring and show to them the places they never dream of going into - while they are still able to do so. The break they deserved from so much stress – household chores for my mama and looking for everyday needs for papa. I know this short vacation for them is not enough with all their efforts to me and to my whole family but I hope that this will be a great jumpstart of our journey of seeing the other side of this world together.

Last quarter last year, I booked plane fare tickets for my parents along with Eure, Racquel, Wisheart and I. Several months later I enjoyed Eliza, my 1st-4th year buddy, as we really looking forward for this also. And on Feb I also included Babaks knowing that it won’t be that total package of happiness and enjoyment without him. And a week prior, Dodong joined us since his long awaited dream is not coming yet. And that make it a full force - Acosta family, my behalf and bff in a very well-known White Island called BORACAY all together!

Now I am highlighting some of our happiest pics together as we enjoyed our fun-filled and superb vacation with loved ones for the first time ever!
Indeed, When God closes the door, He opens the airport and show to you the World! #iamsuperbianca

JUMP-SHOTS! Just like in life, everyone has its own perfect timing to receive God's blessings.
Don't be in a hurry. God's blessings are countless!

I might have been experiencing my quarter life crisis this time, as this happened to everyone, but it won't stop me not to experience the other best side in what life can offer. God know's my heart's long-desire! #heartstrong #keepthefaith

These 2 people, Lesio & my Babaks, are the ones closest to my heart. They both know my happiness, heartaches and dreams. I always count on them during ups and downs. But this time, we all deserved the blissfulness in life.

oRaCaY bAbY 2014!!!

LIFE is just a matter of ups and downs. And it is up to us how to live with it.
Glad to say, I spent mine with positivism and gratitude. This may not be the best thing I can offer yet its one way-at a time-I can pay them back.
