It's More Fun in Boracay, and Even More, More Fun w/ Loved Ones!

I don’t spend too much for leisure - But if it’s for the happiness of my family,

 I’m gonna save for it! 

Long before, I always dream of a family treat in a way of my gratitude to my parents for giving me everything that made me of who I am and what I have in life. As a daughter, I know I gave them so much heartache when I graduated in college and learn to blame all my frustrations and get dismayed with my profession.

But as the years passed by, I learned to appreciate life, especially with my career. (and their lives too! :) Although I still don’t know where it will take me in the next future but life has to continue. I enjoyed it despite of some hitches along the way – the existential crisis which happens to everyone (no exception). And one thing I appreciated of my way of thinking is that I would like also to bring and show to them the places they never dream of going into - while they are still able to do so. The break they deserved from so much stress – household chores for my mama and looking for everyday needs for papa. I know this short vacation for them is not enough with all their efforts to me and to my whole family but I hope that this will be a great jumpstart of our journey of seeing the other side of this world together.

Last quarter last year, I booked plane fare tickets for my parents along with Eure, Racquel, Wisheart and I. Several months later I enjoyed Eliza, my 1^st-4^th year buddy, as we really looking forward for this also. And on Feb I also included Babaks knowing that it won’t be that total package of happiness and enjoyment without him. And a week prior, Dodong joined us since his long awaited dream is not coming yet. And that make it a full force - Acosta family, my behalf and bff in a very well-known White Island called BORACAY all together! 

Now I am highlighting some of our happiest pics together as we enjoyed our fun-filled and superb vacation with loved ones for the first time ever!

I might have been experiencing my quarter life crisis this time, as this happened to everyone, but it won't stop me not to experience the other best side in what life can offer. God know's my heart's long-desire! #heartstrong #keepthefaith

These 2 people, Lesio & my Babaks, are the ones closest to my heart. They both know my happiness, heartaches and dreams. I always count on them during ups and downs.But this time, we all deserved the blissfulness in life.

Water Adventures: Banana Boat 200/pax and Island hopping 1,500

First time we tried Banana Boat! It was really fun playing with you big waves! It was also funny how Kuya (who took this pic) sneak some pics when he was also the one driving!

Enjoyed my 2nd-time Snorkeling (1st was in El Nido). I really had fun with you sea creatures!!!

No Goodbyes to you,  Boracay! I'll be back next time!

I might got financially broke with this trip yet I never felt any lost at all. Instead, it gave me more encouragement to look forward for another family trip next time in another place. God’s willing in time, health, financial and career. Thank you also for some financial support to my sister, Alaj. Enjoy your Baguio trip soon and I will have mine the next month after too! (crossing fingers)

I am the happiest daughter! I deserved this as well! :)
BoRaCaY bAbY 2014!!!

LIFE is just a matter of ups and downs. And it is up to us how to live with it. 

Glad to say, I spent mine with positivism and gratitude. This may not be the best thing I can offer yet its one way-at a time-I can pay them back.

A Dreamer's Summer 2014

Summer is one of the most exciting season of the year that everyone of us have been looking forward for. We tend to plan to go to places where everyone most likely to visit or re-visit. And during this time, each one of us will surely post online the best pictures & the best captions we can, even exaggerating some things. But who cares by the way? Be it in the sea, mountains, falls, springs etc. We enjoyed it and so we all have an equal right to show to the world how we spent unforgettably our hot-summer!
For me, its not really that extravagant (as always) haha! Some of which were already planned by Superfriends before summer came & some were 'by-luck visit' through work-related activities. But I am grateful enough to share to you how and what I did this summer that might interest you to pay for a visit also in the next trip you want.

1. Amara for Elementary Batch 2001 Get-Together 

Its funny yet really this one I considered as my summer-opener. Seemed so late though but definitely it was!

That feeling when you can't go for a dip because of the so-called monthly girl thing!

    04 May 2014, Sunday at Amara, Liloan was our venue for elementary reunion and of course the Superfriends' too! haha. It was my 3rd time in this beautiful - I cant afford subdivision! My God, you have to build 3-floor house if you want to live here and you can not access the amenities if no one will permit you from a residence inside. Thanks to the friends of my friends' though! But anyway, I considered this place a very special one also since my highschool memoir was so enriched with this place. (Way back 3rd year hs)

2. Superfriends' Colder-Summer in Osmeña Peak, Traverse to Alcoy Beach

Yes! It was a planned Superfriends' getaway this summer in a colder way! On 10 - May 2014 (Sat & Sun), We did it in the Cebu-South of Mantalungon, Dalaguete - the very well-known Osmeña Peak. I was really amazed with the vegetables, trees, mountains, and all the sceneries along the way. And the more we get closer to the peak, the more that it gets colder! You shouldn't miss the fog happening anytime up in the peak too! That was absolutely amazing! A hint: It was a 3 hour trip thru a bus to Dalaguete proper (80+kms) fare of Php101. Motorcyle to Mantalungon fare Php100 and vice versa. You can hire kids as tour guide in the area. They are also willing to buy goods or water or anything & definitely they will not demand for a price.

I was still able to manage wearing sleeveless despite of the cold temp. around!

We were supposed to traverse to Badian falls but it was a 4-6 hour walk from the peak so we decided to proceed to Tingko, Alcoy beach instead to take a sea dip!

3. Mystic Island - Siquijor!

The Regional Rural Sanitation Inspectors' Summit happened to be in Siquijor this year, specifically in San Juan. I have been in the place for a few times but summer days will be the best season to visit the place really. We also had a chance to attend the concert of Hajji and Rachelle Alejandro at Maria, Siquijor. And the highlight that Siquijor can offer at its best are the sumptuous & plenty of seafoods they have! Superb!

4. Team Building at Hagnaya Beach Resort 

Mid-Year Program Implementation Report for this 2014 was held in Hagnaya Beach Resort, San Remigio. It was my 2nd time to attend this activity with the DOH. That was tiring yet fun-filled team building!

To wrap it all, these were my Summer 2014 adventures. It might not be as luxurious and extravagant as yours but I am HAPPY for it. I am gonna look forward for more adventures in all year-round seasons.
